A Director based in London, Denise is a senior leader working across the consulting, networks and think tank areas of the business. She leads strategy and stakeholder engagement projects spanning a variety of clients and partners.
Denise is a proven expert in the pharmaceutical and healthcare arenas among other sectors like food and beverage and energy. She also leads SustainAbility’s European membership of the SustainAbility Transparency Network.
Recent consulting engagements include: Defining the metrics and authoring the first progress report for the AMR Industry Alliance; developing a landmark report and campaign for the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations on 50 years of global health progress; chairing a stakeholder advisory panel for a major energy company; and supporting a London business improvement district’s implementation of the SDGs.
Denise is responsible for consulting and business development strategy as well as external relations while being a valued contributor to thought leadership and a sought-after facilitator and speaker.
Denise joined SustainAbility from a London-based consultancy in public and stakeholder engagement and consultation for nationally significant infrastructure projects. Denise also has international experience working with both national and global development organisations and NGOs, mainly in Latin America and India, and focusing on social challenges for internally displaced persons and strategic planning for environmental and disaster risk reduction.
Denise has a Master’s degree in Forced Migration from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology from Harvard College. She also speaks Spanish.
