Denise Delaney leads SustainAbility’s London team and its work across sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement and trends/intelligence projects spanning a variety of clients and partners across pharma, energy/oil & gas, financial services and food & beverage.
Her clients range from Shell to Nestlé to Novartis to private equity firms and banks. She also leads SustainAbility’s European membership of the SustainAbility Transparency Network. Denise has been responsible for consulting and business development strategy at SustainAbility as well as external relations while being a valued contributor to thought leadership and an experienced facilitator and speaker.
Denise joined SustainAbility from a London-based consultancy in public and stakeholder engagement and consultation for nationally significant infrastructure projects in the UK (with HS2, Hinkley Point C reactor, and Western Power Distribution). Denise also has international experience working with both national and global development organisations and NGOs such as Oxfam, mainly in Latin America and India, and focusing on social challenges for internally displaced persons and strategic planning for environmental and disaster risk reduction.
Denise has a master’s degree in forced migration from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in social anthropology from Harvard College. She also speaks Spanish.
