Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Aiste heads SustainAbility’s research activities and leads advisory projects spanning a variety of sectors with an emphasis on technology, energy and healthcare industries.

Aiste leads research on emerging sustainability trends that helps business leaders and their stakeholders anticipate changes and respond to the evolving sustainable development agenda. She also manages the GlobeScan/SustainAbility Survey of sustainability leaders and has in-depth knowledge of climate change issues; global health; social impact assessment; human rights and supply chain issues; and emerging markets.

Aiste leads SustainAbility’s engagement with the technology sector and has worked on sustainability strategy projects with companies across a wide range of industries. Her current and former clients include Facebook, Nike, Cisco, Edison International, PG&E, Shell, Novo Nordisk, Huawei and others. She is a frequent contributor of blogs and has been published in GreenBiz, The Guardian, Huffington Post and other publications.

Prior to joining SustainAbility, Aiste spent more than 10 years working at the intersection of private, non-profit and public sectors in five countries. Most recently, she led research and grantmaking initiatives at the Global Fund for Women. She also worked as a journalist and public relations advisor in the UK, Germany, Lithuania and Russia.
