Conducting a materiality assessment has allowed Amer Sports to identify and prioritise issues, to smartly allocate resources, and focus investments across the business and brands. The SustainAbility materiality approach helped to build buy-in and has allowed the company sharpen its reporting.
The findings provided the basis for the development of the corporate responsibility framework and for establishing goals and targets.
