SustainAbility Vice President Michael Sadowski is featured in an interview by SRI-Connect, “a professional network and information exchange for sustainable companies and responsible investors”, exploring views on what changes could companies make to help SRI investment analysts and talking about next stage in the Rate the Raters project
From the interview:
Tell us about the next stage in the Rate the Raters project?
When we wrapped up Rate the Raters Phase Four last summer, we were pleased with the dialogue we helped foster about improving the quality and transparency of ratings. We also observed concrete examples of where our work had effected positive changes in practice. But, we also believe that there is much more improvement to be made, and we have several unanswered questions. For example: How are companies getting value from ratings? What do investors and analysts want out of ratings? Rate the Raters Phase Five is our effort to answer these questions.
Sustainability will publish the findings of Rate The Raters Phase Five in the fall of 2012.
